Promthep Cape is a rocky headland that sticks out into the Andaman Sea, and is the most southern point of Phuket Island. Facing west, this is the best spot in south Phuket to watch the sunset or just enjoy the views on the ocean during day time. There’s lots of parking space available and a big open space on top of the hill with a shrine and a lighthouse. You can walk all the way down on a dirt path to the end of the cape, or just enjoy the views from the road. Read in this blog post everything you need to know about Promthep Cape Phuket.

Black Rock Viewpoint is still a well-kept secret. It’s situated high up in the mountains that overlook Nai Harn beach and Ao Sane .Black Rock Viewpoint derives its name from the exposed, flat black rocks that cover much of the ground on that side of the mountain. What really makes Black Rock stand out though is its isolation. It’s perfectly quiet up there, and given how crowded Phuket is, that’s a rare thing..

Directly in between Yanui and Nai Harn is the famous Windmill Viewpoint. If you enjoyed Promthep Cape then you’ll LOVE the views from the windmill, too. As another popular sunset spot, the scenery is absolutely epic here. It’s an amazing place to come with a picnic, sit underneath the massive Phuket windmill, and have a cold Chang beer as the sky’s colors change before you.

We recommend doing a half or an all-day trip to combine multiple islands at once. Many of the boats from other popular beaches come to these specific islands. So going from Rawai Beach Phuket will also save you some money! Below are some must-see islands to hit. Bon Island: Snorkeling and lunch Buddha Island (Koh Kaeo): Two large golden Buddha statues Coral Island: Relax at Banana beach and Long beach.
